More than a symposium, it was a reunion with my floral family, a place where creativity is celebrated, friendships are nurtured, knowledge is shared, and every flower tells a story. Every time, I leave with a grateful heart, inspired by extraordinary artists from around the nation and world, I’m reminded that when passion is shared, we all rise together. This year was no exception. 

Over the years, through the encouragement of so many, along with consistency and dedication, that curiosity has blossomed into long-lasting friendships, opportunities, creativity, community, and a window into the remarkable world of floral artistry.

I got the opportunity to help prepare flowers for the Master’s Class workshop led by the wonderful, versatile floral artist and designer, Tanus Saab from Brazil. I also had the privilege of working alongside Paulo Porfírio, Paulo Yoshida, and their talented team.

When we share a love for the floral industry, we all speak the same language: the language of flowers. The possibilities become endless, and when we pour our hearts into what we love, we create connections with people who truly elevate us.

To each member of the team Sarah, Gracelyn, Joanna, Catea, Catherine, and Andrea, thank you. Every one of you brought your own unique talent, energy, and generosity, and I feel fortunate to have worked alongside you.

Finally, my heartfelt thanks to the entire AIFD family – from the registration and check-in teams to the workroom volunteers, coordinators, amazing sponsors and to every friend who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this symposium such a memorable experience.
